Etowah Chapter Members of the Year

JESSE EVERIDGE Award is to recognize a Youth in the Catawba Lodge Order of the Arrow, Etowah Chapter, who has served and assisted the Etowah Chapter in its functions and events in the current year, and who is deserving of recognition. The recipient of this award is selected only by the adults of Etowah Chapter.

BOB DULA Award is to recognize an Adult in the Catawba Lodge Order of the Arrow, Etowah Chapter, who has served and assisted the Etowah Chapter in its functions and events in the current year, and who is deserving of recognition. The recipient of this award is selected only by the youth of Etowah Chapter.

Awards Nominations

Nominations for these awards should be submitted to the etowah_adviser@catawba459.org no later than the Monday following Fall Fellowship. Winners will be selected at the October Etowah Chapter meeting.

Please consider the following conditions before nominating an individual:

1 - Must be a member of the Catawba Lodge

2 - Must be a member of the Etowah Chapter

3 - Lodge dues must be paid for the current year

4 - Service is for the current year

5 - Youth is considered to be age 20 or below


Crenshaw Family Arrowman of the Year

The Crenshaw Family Arrowman of the Year Award is given to up to two adults and up to four youth per year for outstanding service to the Lodge.  All members of the Lodge may make nominations for the Arrowman of the Year Award.  The youth recipients are voted on by adults and the adult recipient is voted on by youth.  It is voted on at the October Executive Committee Meeting.  These Awards are presented at the Lodge's annual banquet in December. 

Crenshaw Family Arrowman of the Year

Founders Award

Introduced at the 1981 National Order of the Arrow Conference, the Founder's Award was created to honor and recognize those Arrowmen who have given outstanding service to the lodge.  The award is reserved for an Arrowmen who demonstrates to fellow Arrowmen that he or she memorializes in his or her everyday life the spirit of achievement as described by founder E. Urner Goodman and cofounder Carroll A. Edson.   Lodges may petition the National Order of the Arrow Committee to present up to four awards annually, based on lodge membership. If the lodge presents more than one award, one must be to a youth under the age of 21.
